DeGray Lake

A CLASSIC ARKANSAS LAKE, Degray Lake near Arkadelphia is known for its great fishing, swimming, boating, water sports, scuba diving, campsites and resorts. You may have your stay and your days all planned out – spending entire afternoons lounging on a party barge or sitting in a fishing boat. But there are so many things to do off the lake as well. Venture into town for great food and fun in Arkadelphia and Caddo Valley.

WHAT WE LOVE:

The sandy beach at Caddo Bend. Sunset cruises and wildlife watching.

December through February are peak eagle-viewing months with Degray Lake being a wintering and nesting area for the majestic American bald eagle. Also each year in January is Eagle Awareness Month.
